Pharmacy
The hospital pharmacy is the health care service that is responsible for choosing, preparing, storing, combining and dispensing medicines and health products, advising health professionals and patients on their safe, effective and efficient use.
Drug dispensing
It is the act of the Pharmaceutical Professional of providing one or more medicines to a patient, in response to the presentation of a medical prescription prepared by a professional.
Pharmaceutical Indication
Pharmaceutical indication (PI) is the service provided at the request of a patient or user who comes to the pharmacy without knowing what medicine to buy and asks the pharmacist for the most appropriate remedy for a specific health problem.
